Mechanism of Action:
  • Inhibits Na+/K+ ATPase pump, leading to increased intracellular calcium and improved cardiac contractility
  • Increases vagal tone, slowing heart rate
Use:
  • Heart failure
  • Atrial fibrillation/flutter

  • Nausea/vomiting

  • Visual disturbances (blurred or yellow-green vision)
