Mechanism of Action:
  • Inhibits carbonic anhydrase enzyme in the ciliary body of the eye, reducing aqueous humor production and intraocular pressure
Use:
  • Treatment of open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension

  • Bitter taste in the mouth
  • Blurred vision
  • Dry eyes

  • Stinging or burning in the eye
Contraindications:
  • Hypersensitivity to dorzolamide or sulfonamides
  • Severe renal impairment
