  • Prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in non-valvular atrial fibrillation
  • Treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE)
  • Reduction of risk of recurrent DVT and PE
Side Effects:
  • Bleeding
  • Anemia
  • Nausea
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
Contraindications:
  • Active bleeding
  • Severe renal impairment (CrCl < 15 mL/min)
  • Hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh B or C)
