Use:
  • Treatment of depression
  • Management of enuresis (bedwetting) in children
Side Effects:
  • Dry mouth

  • Drowsiness
  • Weight gain
  • Orthostatic hypotension
Contraindications:
  • Hypersensitivity to imipramine or other tricyclic antidepressants
  • Recent myocardial infarction
  • Narrow-angle glaucoma
  • Urinary retention
  • Severe liver disease
