Mechanism of Action:
  • Inhibits leukotriene D4 binding to CysLT1 receptor in the lungs and bronchial tubes
  • Reduces inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and mucus production
Use:
  • Asthma prophylaxis in adults and children over 12 months
  • Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children over 6 months

  • Hypersensitivity to montelukast or any component of the formulation
