Use:
  • Treatment of urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria
  • Prophylaxis of recurrent urinary tract infections

  • Rash
Contraindications:
  • Known hypersensitivity to nitrofurantoin
  • Severe renal impairment (CrCl < 60 mL/min)
  • Pregnancy at term (38-42 weeks gestation) or during labor and delivery
