Use:
  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus
  • Weight management in adults with obesity
Side Effects:
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Hypoglycemia (when used with insulin or sulfonylureas)
Contraindications:
  • Hypersensitivity to semaglutide or any component of the formulation
  • Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
  • Multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
