  • Reversibly binds to the P2Y12 receptor on platelets, preventing ADP-mediated activation and subsequent platelet aggregation
Use:
  • Prevention of thrombotic events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), including unstable angina (UA), non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), and ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI)

  • Active bleeding
