Mechanism of Action:
  • Binds to and activates GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland
  • Leads to downregulation of GnRH receptors and decreased secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
  • Results in decreased testosterone and estrogen levels
